سنن ابوداؤد

Sunan abu-Dawood سنن ابوداؤد

Sunan Abi Dawud, compiled by Imam Abu Dawud Sulayman ibn al-Ash’ath (d. 889 CE), is recognized as one of the six canonical collections of Hadith (Al-Kutub al-Sittah), holding immense importance in Islamic law. Unlike Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, Imam Abu Dawud specifically organized his Sunan according to legal chapters (Books of Fiqh), focusing primarily on narrations that form the basis for Sharia rulings and are cited by jurists. The collection contains both Sahih (authentic) and Hasan (good) Hadith, serving as a comprehensive reference for Mujtahids (jurists capable of independent reasoning) and students of Islamic jurisprudence. It is an essential resource for studying the practical application of the Sunnah in Muslim life.
