Psychology  علم النفس in Islam is the science of the nafs (“self” or “psyche”), is the medical and philosophical study of the psyche from an Islamic perspective and addresses topics in psychology, neuroscience, philosophy of mind, and psychiatry as well as psychosomatic medicine.
