Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani

Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmaniمفتی محمد تقی عثمانی۔ is one of the most influential living Islamic scholars of the modern era, renowned globally for his deep expertise across numerous fields, particularly Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), finance, and Hadith. Hailing from Pakistan, he is a leading figure in the Deobandi movement and currently serves as the Vice President of Darul Uloom Karachi. His magnum opus, the Urdu commentary on the Quran, Taqi al-Qur’an, and his pioneering work in Islamic banking and finance (serving on Shariah boards worldwide) have cemented his status as a preeminent authority whose rulings and writings are respected across nearly all Muslim schools of thought.
