Abu ‘Abd Allah Muhammad ibn Saalih ibn Muhammad ibn Sulayman ibn Abd Al Rahman Al Uthaymeen Al Tamimi (أبو عبد الله محمد بن صالح بن محمد بن سليمان بن عبد الرحمن العثيمين التميمي), also known as al-Uthaymeen was an Islamic Fiqah scholar in Saudi Arabia.
Al-Uthaymeen is still considered an influential cleric within the Salafist movement. He dedicated his entire life to the service of Islam and Muslims by sharing his vast knowledge of the Islamic creed with students and members of the public through regular classes, publications, radio programs, and preaching and counseling activities.
He passed away on 10 January 2001 at the age of 74.
